Taking Advantage

Referrals to Capital Carers come from a variety of sources, most commonly by Social Services and Southwark Council.

Adult Carers are able to benefit from our services through the Flexible Care Scheme. Telephone Southwark Carers 020 7708 4497 for further information

In all cases, one of our Service Co-ordinators will visit you at home to discuss your needs and those of the person you care for. The Service co-ordinator will then introduce you and the person you care for to your community care worker team so that you can get to know each other and develop a relationship of trust and understanding.

At the Young Carers Project we offer an open referral route. This means that anyone can make a referral. Be they professional, family or the young carer themselves. There is no charge for the Young Carers Project.
